The summer wave of video game announcements is nearly upon us, with a PlayStation State of Play, Summer Game Fest Live, and an Xbox Showcase already scheduled within a six-day span of one another. A few hints as to what may show up during reveal season are starting to surface, including one that will have Lego fans raising an eyebrow: Paradox Interactive's Lego Skylines.  Via Gematsu, the name Lego Skylines has appeared among other known upcoming projects on a recent ratings report by the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea, the country's ESRB equivalent. A new Sonic Racing: Crossworlds trailer has unveiled some unexpected crossovers, including with classic anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. All 52 users who have written Sonic/Eva fanfiction on the hosting website Archive Of Our Own took a collective breath in. The brand deal was revealed as part of a Sonic 35th anniversary hype reel at Summer Game Fest 2026. The trailer showed other, perhaps more predictable collaborations like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem, upcoming fighting game Avatar Legends, and monster icon Godzilla.
