The ongoing collapse of the crypto gaming industry claimed another victim this week, with blockchain startup Proof of Play announcing its demise roughly one year after shutting down its flagship game, Pirate Nation. Bandai Namco's Tekken team has had several high-profile departures over the past year. First was assistant director Yohei Shimbori in August of 2025, followed by Executive Director and the "face of Tekken" Katsuhiro Harada--who recently revealed his new studio in partnership with SNK. House House's critically acclaimed co-op puzzle-solving game Big Walk has only been out for two days, but one modder is taking it upon themselves to add a new dimension to the gameplay. Dying Light: The Beast was released last year for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with developer Techland promising a last-gen version of the game as well.
