Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure

The Sinking City 2 has made big changes in the hopes of capitalizing on the untapped potential left to float in the void in the first game. A better, more interesting protagonist; a revamped and easier to parse investigation system; and better-paced missions might help this eldritch sequel rise above clever curiosity for fans of tentacle-tinged horror and into must-play territory for everyone this time around, so long as it’s not held back by the underwhelming combat and puzzles that nagged the previous game and don’t seem to be fully solved here just yet.

Eight years after the series finale, Adventure Time is finally moving on

In about 16 minutes of hands-on time with Bad Magpie, I torched flowers, added even more chaos to the mess humans left behind with a sonic bird call, and thoroughly disgruntled some innocent mice. Bad Magpie is instantly charming, and from what I played, has great puzzles to go with its chaos.

You probably don't need me to tell you Rayman Legends is an absolute classic. And despite it being over a decade old at this point, the celebrated 2D platformer - with its sumptuous hand-drawn art and wildly imaginative action - still looks and sounds and plays phenomenally today. So it feels a bit odd that, of all the Rayman games Ubisoft could have revisited and remade as the character celebrates his 30th anniversary, it's this one.
