Earlier in 2026, Sony shut down Bluepoint Games, the studio behind the fantastic Demon’s Souls and Shadow of the Colossus remakes. In an interview with IGN, Fumito Ueda, the original creator of Shadow of the Colossus, expressed his sadness at Bluepoint's demise, saying he'd hoped to work with the developer at least once more.

It sounds like the upcoming Marvel Blade game from Deathloop developer Arkane Lyon could be no more. Marvel's Blade was unveiled during The Game Awards 2023, and when it was said this would be an original story for the half-human, half-vampire, as he takes on "a supernatural emergency" in the streets of Paris. 007 First Light has been a big success for IO Interactive, which developed and published the James Bond game, but now that Amazon owns the franchise, what's going to happen with a potential sequel?
