Activision and Treyarch are rereleasing COD: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 in a pair of new ports for PlayStation consoles in July

Call of Duty: Black Ops fans are growing frustrated by players who refuse to vote for different maps.

If you have some downtime over the 4th of July weekend and are looking for a game to play, Microsoft is bringing back its Free Play Days promotion, offering up some top titles to play for the low, low price of $0. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's multiplayer and Zombies modes are free now through July 6, while Diablo IV is free through July 7. Demonschool and The Stone Madness have free two-hour trials now through July 5. None of these games require an Xbox Game Pass subscription during the free period. Free is a nice price. The ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) and Black Ops 2 (2012) are available now. The ports, which were confirmed in June, are developed by Iron Galaxy in conjunction with Activision. As announced previously, these are not remasters or remakes--if you enjoyed the games in their original states, that's what you're getting here. The games cost $40, but PlayStation Plus members can get each for $20 through August 6. There is no bundle that puts them together. Black Ops 1 and 2 are out now on PS4 and PS5. It would seem as though Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 may be coming to modern platforms.
