As part of the announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 today, Activision also confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone is going away on legacy platforms. Starting with MW4 Season 1 (which itself is expected "shortly" after the game releases on October 23), Warzone will no longer be playable on PS4 and Xbox One. The game itself will be delisted for new downloads on those platforms on June 4, though anyone who still has the game can keep playing. DMZ mode returns for Modern Warfare 4, bringing back Call of Duty's take on the "high-risk for high-reward" extraction shooter genre. Infinity Ward is expanding on the features from the original DMZ, and Modern Warfare 4 includes a new "GTA-like" Wanted system, making it a lot riskier to play loud.
