Call of Duty: World at War is a first-person shooter set during World War II, focusing on the Pacific and Eastern Front theaters. The single-player campaign follows two perspectives: U.S. Marine Private C. Miller fighting against the Imperial Japanese Army across islands in the Pacific, and Soviet Red Army Private Dimitri Petrenko advancing from Stalingrad to Berlin. The game features more graphic violence than previous entries in the series, including limb dismemberment and destructible environments. Multiplayer retains the leveling, perk, and killstreak systems from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game also introduced the cooperative Nazi Zombies survival mode, in which up to four players fight increasingly difficult waves of undead while purchasing weapons and unlocking new areas.

Call Of Duty: Warzone Is Dying On PS4 And Xbox One
As part of the announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 today, Activision also confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone is going away on legacy platforms. Starting with MW4 Season 1 (which itself is expected "shortly" after the game releases on October 23), Warzone will no longer be playable on PS4 and Xbox One. The game itself will be delisted for new downloads on those platforms on June 4, though anyone who still has the game can keep playing. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Adds GTA-Like Wanted System
DMZ mode returns for Modern Warfare 4, bringing back Call of Duty's take on the "high-risk for high-reward" extraction shooter genre. Infinity Ward is expanding on the features from the original DMZ, and Modern Warfare 4 includes a new "GTA-like" Wanted system, making it a lot riskier to play loud. DMZ's Hajin map is a hostile territory, where players want to loot and make a successful extraction with all their valuables and gear.
