Gears of War: E-Day is now available to preorder from a variety of retailers. Here's what editions are available and what comes with each one ahead of its October 6 release date.

Each year, Day of the Devs hosts a showcase around Summer Game Fest to highlight some of the wildly creative indie games in development around the world. The organizers of Day of the Devs revealed to GameSpot that the non-profit received over 1,700 submissions for this year's Summer Game Fest showcase. That massive list of submissions was ultimately narrowed down to 20 titles, diverse in genre and developers, that make up the showcase. We already know a few things about this year's Call of Duty game. Earlier this year, Activision confirmed that the game would skip PS4 and Xbox One (something that wasn't true for last year's Black Ops 7). There were also rumours that the game would return to the Modern Warfare series, though that was just a suggestion until last night.
