God of War developer Santa Monica Studio has responded to a social media post from Domino's Pizza after the pizza chain's UK account joked about the newly announced God of War: Laufey for being a God of War game without Kratos. The post from Domino's Pizza UK said, "God of War game with no Kratos = Pepperoni Passion with no pepperoni." The Domino's Pizza UK post was criticized for making fun of the game just because it doesn't feature Kratos, with many replies pointing out the reports of how poorly Domino's is known to treat its workers and how mediocre at best its pizza is. Just like (well, not just like) the original 2000 game, Resident Evil: Veronica will be played from a third-person perspective. The news was shared with GameSpot during a group Q&A session at Summer Game Fest, which is also where Capcom officially announced the game to the public. The original Resident Evil: Code Veronica was also played in third-person--just like most of the older Resident Evil games--but it utilized the clunkier "tank" controls of the PlayStation originals. For Resident Evil: Veronica, GameSpot was told the closest gameplay corollary would be the Resident Evil 2 remake.

In the pantheon of the Persona series, its fourth entry is held in high regard, and time will tell if Persona 4 Revival will prove to be the best of the bunch. The little bit I got to see is at least making it a pretty strong contender for that award, and it still very much feels like Persona 4. But anyone who has played it before knows it’s a very long game, so we will have to wait and see whether it's worth tuning in for or changing the channel.
