Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe has reassured fans that he’s still working on his next game, Haunted Chocolatier, and explained why it’s taking so long.

With GTA 6 launching in a few months, Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone's Haunted Chocolatier is teeing up to be the next big "when the heck is it coming out" game. Announced five years ago, Barone has given a few updates and interviews on the status of the game, and in a new blog post, he wrote about the progress on his Stardew Valley follow-up. ConcernedApe published an update on the development of Haunted Chocolatier, and it seems that he's working on some rather interesting additions.

The Stardew developer says he's now "certain" he'll enjoy Haunted Chocolatier once it's finished.
