A very welcome TKL update that didn't quite leave me speechless.

Techland's open-world zombie game Dying Light: The Beast is apparently too beefy for previous-generation hardware.

Dying Light: The Beast was released last year for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with developer Techland promising a last-gen version of the game as well. That's no longer the case, as the studio says it has made the "difficult decision" to cancel the PS4 and Xbox One versions, due to the game's visuals being too advanced for those systems to handle. Midnight Murder Club, the positively received horror party game from the developers of Knockout City, is getting one more update before the studio moves on. However, Velan Studios confirmed the game is not shutting down. Update 2.0.008, which is out now and addresses an issue on Steam with controller-rumble issues, is the "last planned update for the game," Velan Studios announced.
