Developer Sucker Punch has made several announcements about Ghost of Yotei, including a new expansion, a new combat survival mode, and a complete edition. The new narrative expansion is called Echoes of Sekigahara, and it's split between the present day and flashbacks. Players will meet a new character, Nagato, who is "a figure from Atsu's past." The expansion also takes players to new places. In the present, they'll visit a valley once inhabited by The Snake and his followers, the Vipers. Sony has announced Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition alongside new content coming to the game.

Sony and PlayStation have just announced Ghost of Yōtei: Complete Edition, a new version of 2025's open world action game, launching with additional content that wasn't in the first release. It launches for PS5 on 1st October, 2026. Read more
