After dumping five games from Xbox Game Pass on June 15, Microsoft has announced the next slate of eight removals for June, bringing the total number of games removed from Game Pass in June to 13. Games leaving Xbox Game Pass on June 30 include Payday 2, Tomb Raider, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Slay the Spire, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Mecha Break, Volcano Princess, and Unpacking are also being sent packing. As the summer gaming season starts to heat up, Sony has announced a new State of Play Showcase for June 2 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET.This will be one of the bigger State of Play livestreams of the year, clocking in at 60 minutes and kicking off with a new look at Insomniac's upcoming Wolverine game alongside "updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals" from other studios across the world. After earning $1 billion in theaters, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will come to Peacock for streaming on July 30, the streamer has announced. This is just the latest way to watch the movie on your couch, as it previously came to premium video-on-demand services on May 19 and then on Blu-ray on June 16. Late last month, Kwalee Labs launched its first-person horror shooter Luna Abyss on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
