Aspyr Media shadowdropped a new "Legacy Edition" of the 2011 The Lord of the Rings game, War in the North, earlier this week. It won't be the last The Lord of the Rings re-release from Aspyr, as the company has confirmed "even more classic releases" from The Lord of the Rings series are coming "in the future." Out of nowhere, the Embracer-owned Aspyr Media announced and released a new edition of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North today across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC. The game was originally released in 2011 for PS3, Xbox 360, Switch 2, and PC, but now it's available on the latest generation of consoles for $20 (or $18 through August 25) as part of a "Legacy" edition.
