Hardware: Online Arena is an online multiplayer game that focuses on vehicular destruction using varying means such as missiles, lasers and machine guns. The game was released for PlayStation 2 with the launch of online play for the console and was possibly the first online game for PS2. The game was not a huge commercial success, selling very little. Later the game was added onto the network access disk that comes when you buy the network adaptor and during 2005 was one of the three most popular games played online having over 200 users on at any one time.

Two More Games Are Losing Online Services Soon
Two more games are losing their online services, but the good news is that the server shutdowns aren't happening all that soon. Delisted Games spotted notices from EA and 2K informing fans about forthcoming server closures. Grid Legends will lose its online service on PlayStation and Xbox consoles on September 11 this year, but servers will stay up for the game's Steam and Switch 2 editions. Grid Legends is riding ... off into the sunset. 2K, meanwhile, announced that TopSpin 2K25's online support will go dark on December 31, 2027. 2K had previously said servers will close at the end of 2026,

AMD Wants You To Keep Using Your Old Hardware For A Lot Longer
