The brooding pace and relative silence that characterize writer-director Michael Sarnoski’s The Death of Robin Hood is more evocative of his standout debut film Pig than it is his far more mainstream A Quiet Place: Day One, making this elegiac but brutal period piece his most niche and least accessible film yet. 2011 The Lord Of The Rings Game Gets Surprise Re-Release Today
Out of nowhere, the Embracer-owned Aspyr Media announced and released a new edition of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North today across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC. The game was originally released in 2011 for PS3, Xbox 360, Switch 2, and PC, but now it's available on the latest generation of consoles for $20 (or $18 through August 25) as part of a "Legacy" edition. One of the most curious events in this episode is the disappearance of the dragon Vhagar, who apparently abandoned her ailing rider Aemond at Harrenhal to go on a countryside spree while he recovers from his stab wound in the care of the enigmatic Alys Rivers. But as Aemond, as out of it as he is, correctly noted, Vhagar would never just leave him.
