Helldiver Defenders are the unmovable objects of humanity, capable of holding their ground in any situation. They have a bulkier look and a helmet reminiscent of the knights of Old Earth and used to double as riot police before humanity unified properly. • The Defender Uniform, a cosmetic helmet, armor, and cape. • CR-9 ‘Suppressor’: A semi-automatic rifle firing small fragmentation grenades. It is a volatile weapon but capable of devastating large masses of enemies, hence the nickname ‘Suppressor’. • AD-334 ‘Guard Dog’: A backpack drone system, featuring an automated defensive combat drone armed with a small submachinegun. The drone circles ahead, firing at targets of opportunity and will land in the backpack to reload.

Helldivers 2 NPCs Will Hug You Back Now, Even When No One Else Will
Helldivers 2's massive 7.0 update, Devoid of Liberty, is live now, and it brings some huge changes to the game's loveable SEAF soldiers. These NPCs are basically the equivalent of UNSC marines in Halo--fun to have around, but not particularly good at their job. Previously in Helldivers 2, SEAF soldiers could be recruited to follow players around and occasionally shoot at enemies, but were mostly good at being accidentally (or maybe not?) blown to bits by friendly fire. In the Devoid of Liberty update, the SEAF soldiers can now appear as a planet modifier, joining Helldivers in their battles. D

Jason Momoa Reportedly Drops Out Of Helldivers Movie
The upcoming film adaptation of Helldivers has lost its leading man, with Jason Momoa exiting the project. Deadline reports that Momoa, who joined the production in February, departed from the movie, but the reason for his withdrawal is not clear. Regardless, the film is still in production and set for a November 2027 premiere. Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions are said to be searching for a new star. While it's understandable that any major studio would want a big-name actor in the lead, Helldivers might be better suited for an ensemble cast, as one of the key elements of the games is
