Developer Sucker Punch has made several announcements about Ghost of Yotei, including a new expansion, a new combat survival mode, and a complete edition. The new narrative expansion is called Echoes of Sekigahara, and it's split between the present day and flashbacks. Players will meet a new character, Nagato, who is "a figure from Atsu's past." The expansion also takes players to new places. In the present, they'll visit a valley once inhabited by The Snake and his followers, the Vipers. In a year where Ubisoft announced and shipped the Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag remake, a revival of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 might not be the highest-profile remake project, but it’s an appreciated one nevertheless. While the announcement did not mince words about the scope and scale of the project — the 1999 title is being brought back to life for both PC and consoles — IGN got to go hands on with the game in a remote session to see how this version compares to the nearly three-decades-old original.

Toy Story Retro Roundup and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition don’t strike me as the kinds of collections that people ask for when they come up with pie-in-the-sky “games to be remastered” wishlists, but licensed games are important, too, and folks should be able to play them. For me, this is a chance to really sit with some games I mostly only ever got glimpses of. But kids deserve to play with these toys, too, and it’s good that Atari is making sure they can.
