At long last, Metal Gear Solid fans can soon get their hands on the one piece of merchandise that truly matters: themed boxes for their cats. Konami has announced an official line of Metal Gear Solid cat merchandise that'll be available exclusively at CatCon 2026, to mark the release of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. We swear we're not making this up, but Konami says that it will have a booth--again, at a cat convention--where it will sell the novelty items for two days in October. I Didn’t Care About The New Star Fox Until I Found Out Who’s Making It
I never played much Star Fox as a kid. Save for maybe a few minutes here and there at a friend or cousin's house, I've basically not played the series whatsoever. So I was safely out on playing the new one arriving this summer for Switch 2. I love note-taking games and I DON'T CARE if that sounds boring
Video games like Her Story, Fez, and Tunic beg the player to take detailed notes to keep track of the story. But journaling or note-taking games are part of a long tradition that goes back to the game manuals of the 80s and 90s. Back in the day, games like The Legend of Zelda had incredibly beautiful, detailed manuals that helped the player navigate difficult puzzles and learn about lore, when memory on consoles was short.
