The rumors were true: Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for Switch 2 is real.

This show ran for only one season throughout 1989 and is widely considered both extremely nostalgic and awful by many. There is no doubt The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is the biggest announcement coming out of today's Nintendo Direct, and fans have plenty to say about it.

Nintendo has officially revealed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake as part of its summer Nintendo Direct showcase. The reveal showed no gameplay, only a cinematic trailer about the boy from the forest who didn't have a fairy. It did, however, confirm a 2026 release date.
