The rumors about a new God of War game proved to be true during Sony's latest State of Play event. That's why the reveal of God of War Laufey wasn't unexpected. What was a surprise was its cubic, talking, gelatin-like companion character, Phranque (as voiced by The Boys' Jack Quaid), is the character who turned out to be the breakout star of State of Play. God of War Laufey was only just announced, but already fans of the series have theories about what will happen, and they don't sound too far-fetched.

Capcom has announced that Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the upcoming action-adventure sequel for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, will now be released earlier than previously guided: it will be available on September 4 rather than September 25.

Often, you leave a demo satisfied. But sometimes, you put down your controller with another thought in mind: “Yeah, I could keep going.” If Capcom had let me, I would have played Onimusha: Way of the Sword all day.
