God Of War’s Cube Was The Star Of State Of Play
The rumors about a new God of War game proved to be true during Sony's latest State of Play event. That's why the reveal of God of War Laufey wasn't unexpected. What was a surprise was its cubic, talking, gelatin-like companion character, Phranque (as voiced by The Boys' Jack Quaid), is the character who turned out to be the breakout star of State of Play. God Of War Laufey May Feature Gods Who Were Killed In The Previous Games
Throughout the original God of War trilogy and its spin-offs, Kratos left a lot of dead gods in his wake. Some of those late deities may come back to haunt Kratos's wife, Faye, in the upcoming title, God of War Laufey. While Kratos is still among the living, Ariel Lawrence--the director of God of War Laufey--hinted that one of his first foes could return. God Of War Laufey Brings Back One Of The Best Parts Of The Previous Games
One of the big reveals from the PlayStation State of Play this week was a new God of War game called God of War: Laufey. The PS5 game mixes things up by focusing on Laufey instead of Kratos, but some things are staying the same. It has been confirmed that Bear McCreary, who composed the music for 2018's God of War and 2022's God of War: Ragnarok, is coming back for Laufey.
