The Monument of Triumph update is the final content update for Destiny 2. When I first began playing the game a decade ago, I was instantly hooked. Over the years I've made friends, experienced the best long-running narrative in a game ever, and cleared all of my plans to be able to experience the newest raid, dungeon, or next story beat. This time around it's a little different. There is no race to be prepared for, and my clan hasn't been frantically discussing the best builds or possible strategies. We're all just going to log in one final time, see what Bungie has made for us, and enjoy it

One month after announcing plans to lay off a "significant" number of employees, Bungie has confirmed these intentions as part of a company-wide reorganization. In a June 25 X post, the Destiny developer announced a "reduction in force" that will have a "profound impact on the people affected, their families, friends, and teammates."
