The Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt Red has announced the new Songs of the Past expansion for the game, which comes 11 years after its second expansion, Blood and Wine. Co-developed with Fool's Theory--a studio that includes several Witcher 3 veterans and previously released The Thaumaturge in 2024--Songs of the Past will be revealed in more detail later this year. VR gaming has been around for years at this point, and in that time there have been hundreds of horror games. But Into the Dead: Crimson Heights, revealed at IGN Live, claims to be the first hyper reality horror game. This is the fourth Into the Dead game, after a couple of mobile games and a side-scrolling spinoff back in 2025, Our Darkest Days.
