Playtonic Games has announced Super Yooka-Laylee Kart, a retro arcade racer fuelled by a new revenge mechanic, as well as SNES vibes.

Drill Rally and Boomerang Rally have been added to Mario Kart World as part of update 1.7.0, alongside stickers in photo mode.

Just like Mario and Donkey Kong before it, the Yooka-Laylee franchise is expanding to a new genre: kart racing.
