เรื่องย่อ
Mario Kart DS is the continuation of the long running racing game series that began on the Super Nintendo. It features 16 new tracks as well as 16 tracks from the previous 4 games, with each set split up into the Nitro and Retro Grand Prix respectively. Eight racers are initially available, each with two go-karts to choose from. A number of characters and additional karts are also available to unlock. New items have been added to the arsenal, including a Blooper squid that squirts ink onto the screens of other players and a Bullet Bill power up that transforms the player into a giant, fast-travelling bullet on autopilot.

Surprise Mario Kart World Update Ends A Drought Of New Content
Despite being the Switch 2's leading launch game, Mario Kart World hasn't gotten much in terms of proper new content. But update 1.7.0 just dropped for the game, and it adds two Knockout Tour routes for players to burn rubber on. The Drill Rally starts at Wario Shipyard and ends in Bowser's Castle, while the Boomerang Rally extends from Salty Salty Speedway to Whistlestop Summit. Nintendo's website mentions that additional routes will be added in future updates, and the game's menu indicates that six more are on the way. Super Yooka-Laylee Kart Recalls The Glory Days Of Retro Mario Kart
Just like Mario and Donkey Kong before it, the Yooka-Laylee franchise is expanding to a new genre: kart racing. Playtonic Games announced Super Yooka-Laylee Kart during the Summer Game Fest as part of Day of the Devs 2026. A debut trailer showed off the racer, which looks very similar in style to classic kart racers like the original Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, and Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
