Mario Kart Tour: London Tour

Drill Rally and Boomerang Rally have been added to Mario Kart World as part of update 1.7.0, alongside stickers in photo mode.

Nintendo has updated Switch 2 launch title Mario Kart Tour with new routes for its Knockout Tour mode, as part of a surprise update.

Just like Mario and Donkey Kong before it, the Yooka-Laylee franchise is expanding to a new genre: kart racing. Playtonic Games announced Super Yooka-Laylee Kart during the Summer Game Fest as part of Day of the Devs 2026.  A debut trailer showed off the racer, which looks very similar in style to classic kart racers like the original Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, and Mario Kart: Super Circuit. Nintendo Music has added its most-requested soundtrack to date — the toe-tapping tunes of Switch 2 exclusive Mario Kart World — and launched a new web player.

Nintendo just released a new update for Mario Kart World on Switch 2 that added some fresh races alongside other features. The update, version 1.7.0, chiefly expands the number of available Knockout Tour routes with the addition of Drill Rally and Boomerang Rally. Read more
