Ahead of its launch in August, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls' final team of multiversal brawlers was revealed at Evo 2026. Dubbed the Samurai Outriders, this team includes Blade, Loki, Ghost Rider, and everyone's favorite chatterbox antihero, Deadpool. As you'd expect, Deadpool is pure chaos, but he's also a walking tribute to fighting games from across multiple series. After years in the shadows, concerns cropped up over the weekend when Marvel's Blade wasn't featured in the Xbox Games Showcase. The superhero game from Arkane Lyon was originally announced in 2023, but barely anything has been revealed since then. That led to speculation the title was canceled. If Insomniac has proved anything over the last eight years, it’s that they know how to make a hell of a superhero game. Marvel's Spider-Man remains one of the PlayStation 4’s defining action games and a shining example of open-world design, as are both of its follow-ups. Now they’re looking to replicate that magic with Marvel's Wolverine, albeit this time as a traditional linear AAA action game.
