Mass Effect Trilogy is a compilation of the first three Mass Effect games, a series of action role-playing games with third-person shooter combat. Players customize a central character, choose a class and abilities, and travel between star systems to explore planets, complete missions, and fight in squad-based encounters. Conversations use a dialogue system in which player choices shape relationships and how parts of the story unfold.
