Introducing Beaten Path, a new solo-developed tactical RPG set in a world of ancient machines and fallen gods. The developer (Jarett Gross) cites Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics as his inspirations. It includes 25 fully voice-acted characters.

Season 4 goes live in Black Ops 7 and Warzone on June 4, and the developer's patch notes reveal all the major changes for Call of Duty’s various modes. These adjustments include a nerf for the powerful SG-12 shotgun, a new self-revive kit for Warzone, and map improvements for Zombies. Content-wise, Season 4 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone adds a new battle pass, another operator for the Guild faction, more guns, and additional maps. New seasons of Ranked Play arrive for both multiplayer and Warzone. Treyarch also introduces a "classic" multiplayer moshpit playlist inspired by Black Ops 2's movement

Video games like Her Story, Fez, and Tunic beg the player to take detailed notes to keep track of the story. But journaling or note-taking games are part of a long tradition that goes back to the game manuals of the 80s and 90s. Back in the day, games like The Legend of Zelda had incredibly beautiful, detailed manuals that helped the player navigate difficult puzzles and learn about lore, when memory on consoles was short. Polygon's Clayton Ashley details the history of taking notes in games, and some of his recent favorites that continue the tradition.
