Following its official reveal at Summer Games Fest, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation made another appearance at Gamescom Opening Night Live, following a brief introduction from director Naoki Hamaguchi. This trailer was centered almost entirely on the Weapons, massive beasts that appear to have a larger role to play in this final part of the trilogy. The cinematic trailer showed Rufus Shinra giving an address following recent world events, and the world has become overrun with Weapons. Those kaiju-like beasts were a part of the original Final Fantasy 7, including as optional bosses, but they seem to
