Minecraft: Mounts of Mayhem

Mojang Studios showed up for its Minecraft Live May 2026 presentation with reveals for A Minecraft Movie 2, Minecraft Dungeons 2, and more, and we were there to gather all of the highlights.

A Minecraft Movie Squared was confirmed to be the title of the next movie at Minecraft Live, which featured many other exciting announcements

The cast from A Minecraft Movie 2 teamed up to release a video confirming that the sequel now has an official title: A Minecraft Movie Squared.

A Minecraft Movie's sequel, which was revealed in 2025 under the working title A Minecraft Movie 2, and it has an official name. Revealed during Minecraft Live, the sequel is called A Minecraft Movie Squared.  That's not all--in a promotional video, actor Matt Berry appeared in a tease for his role in Squared. What that role is, however, remains a mystery. The What We Do in the Shadows actor was supposed to play Steve in the first movie, but had to play a smaller role--a villager who gets hit by a car and goes on a date with Jennifer Coolidge--due to scheduling conflicts. https://www.yout

Minecraft Dungeons 2 is coming out in September for all major systems.
