Booster Gold's HBO television series has been MIA for months, and now the writer behind it says it may be canceled.

It's a sad day for superhero fans, as just hours after actor Mahershala Ali announced he's no longer working on Marvel's Blade, writer David Jenkins confirmed his Booster Gold TV show also "won't be moving forward."

Marvel star Simu Liu has offered a positive update on his long-in-development Sleeping Dogs movie adaptation, saying the film has "a REAL path forward" as discussions with game publisher Square Enix continue.

Today's Xbox Games Showcase was the first under the leadership of Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, who has pledged to consider making changes to Xbox's exclusivity strategy. Now, another Xbox executive, chief content officer Matt Booty, has clarified Microsoft's position on exclusives going forward. He told Gamertag Radio, "Our big multiplayer games [and] live-service games are going to continue to be multiplatform." Capcom has announced that Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the upcoming action-adventure sequel for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, will now be released earlier than previously guided: it will be available on September 4 rather than September 25.
