Hours before launching, the official Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game account on X announced that the Xbox edition of the title isn't coming out today, July 23, as planned. Instead, it's now releasing on Xbox Series X|S sometime before September 3 because of "unforeseen circumstances on a backend feature." It's quite the last-moment delay, especially considering not even 24 hours ago the same account was promoting the game's launch. That's rough, buddy. Thirty minutes isn’t nearly enough time to tackle everything Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has to offer, but it was enough to make me want to play more of it, and I loved eking out wins and playing around with all of these characters. It’s hard to say how Avatar Legends will turn out when all’s said and done, but I’d be lying to you if I said I didn’t want to spend hours figuring things out in training mode.

There have been a lot of different Pokémon games released on the Nintendo Switch over the years but my favorite so far has been Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It felt like the most refined gameplay experience and runs especially well if you get the Switch 2 edition. IGN gave the game a solid 8 out of 10 review when it was first released last year and I highly recommend playing it if you're a fan of the series.As it's one of the most recent Pokémon game and one of the only titles to get a dedicated Switch 2 edition, there haven't really been any good discounts on physical copies of the game
