Parascientific Escape: Crossing at the Farthest Horizon

As part of Nintendo's latest earnings report, the company disclosed new sales numbers for many of its best-selling games. Included in the data is the confirmation that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has passed a massive new sales milestone: 50 million copies sold. New Horizons stood at 49.91 million units sold through March 31, 2026. With 50.29 million sold through June 30--the latest reporting period--that means the game sold another 380,000 units in the past 90 days or so. It's the No. 2 best-selling Switch 1 game from Nintendo, only surpassed by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (78.53 million units). Bot
