Port of Mars is an online, game-based, social science experiment set on the first human community on the Red Planet. You are 1 of 5 residents at the Port of Mars, the first long-term habitat on the planet. Each game consists of 8—12 rounds, each with phases of investing, trading, purchasing, discarding, and reacting to Mars events. Chance and player actions impact system health. If system health falls to zero all players die. Your mission is to stay alive and achieve the most Victory Points. In each round you will usually receive 10 time blocks that you can invest in System Health or Influence resources. System Health keeps your team alive. Influence resources are used to purchase Accomplishments that earn you Victory Points.

Shrek Plays Soccer Now, Sort Of
Of the multitude of unusual characters that are playable in FIFA Heroes, there are some new additions that are absolutely my favorites. Dreamworks Animation's Shrek enters the fray as part of the new season pass, and I cannot stop giggling. There's something pretty wonderful about watching the giant green ogre play a cross in to Messi, who passes it to Puss in Boots to finish. Sadly, the Shrek characters, consisting of Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots, Gingy, Pinocchio, and Lord Farquaad will only be playable until August 10. Masters of the Universe Review
2026's Masters of the Universe makes the smart choice to play up the dumb parts of He-Man and not take anything seriously. It’s part Flash Gordon, part Deadpool, and almost officially a parody of itself. These are all good things, by the way.
