There are, after a good few hours playing it, quite a few games like Control Resonant. It's an RPG with a kind of pseudo open-world - an "open-ended modern world" I believe was Remedy's way of putting it in its presentation to the press earlier this week - and it has skill trees and some light resource-gathering and item-upgrading. The trailer itself says the game launches Sept. 24, but a text description on YouTube says Aug. 27.

This prequel spinoff takes some interesting chances, only some of which pay off.

Putting 'legacy' in the title of your game naturally encourages considerations about what that legacy might be – and that, in turn, invites thoughts about its identity. (And perhaps 'supremacy' and 'ultimatum' if you're a big Jason Bourne fan.) It might sound silly to say of a game with some of the most impressive faces and places you'll see this – or any – year.
