The third game in the Plague Tale series is a prequel set on a Greek island.

Where A Plague Tale's Amicia spent two games hiding in the grass, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy's smuggler Sophia is far more athletic and trained for danger, and it plays less like a full-blown stealth puzzler than like Assassin's Creed crossed with Tomb Raider. On this evidence, it's the best the series has ever felt in our hands.

There are, after a good few hours playing it, quite a few games like Control Resonant. It's an RPG with a kind of pseudo open-world - an "open-ended modern world" I believe was Remedy's way of putting it in its presentation to the press earlier this week - and it has skill trees and some light resource-gathering and item-upgrading. The release date for Control Resonant was finally revealed alongside a new trailer revealed at the PlayStation State of Play.

Remedy's multiplatform action game Control Resonant showed up during the PlayStation State of Play event this week, and it turns out the game is giving PS5 users preferential treatment. One of the perks of buying the $70 digital deluxe edition of Control Resonant on PS5 is 48 hours of early access.
