Revenants: Spirit & Mind

Who would have thought it, but the seventh movie in the Despicable Me franchise may be the best one yet, as Minions & Monsters uses those little banana-loving dudes to make an ode to early Hollywood and to the power of cinema and storytelling.

Maybe it's because I've just played through several hours of teen rebellion, but I feel like breaking some rules. Unfortunately these are rules of video game reviewing, which I am paid to care about (and do actually care about, because I am sad) but which I really ought not to ever burden you with because they are, let's be honest, incredibly dull. Lego's massive new Lord of the Rings set is even bigger than the Star Wars Millennium Falcon, and it comes with 10 minifigures.

Perfect playlist, but just a decent videogame.
