I've been playing Grand Theft Auto 4 for the first time since 2008, and there's a lot in it that I hope Rockstar borrows for GTA 6.

In contrast to the snowy, mountainous landscape of the first game, Until Dawn 2 is set on a tropical island, but still involves a set of horny young people getting hacked and slashed. Just like the first game, it's a cinematic, choice-based horror game where your decisions affect who lives and dies. First-person horror games are some of our favorite kind, as they bring the scary stuff right in front of your character's eyes. In Black Lake, developer Polydin Studio ups that ante by setting this spooky psychological/survival horror game not just in an abandoned orphanage in search of your missing twin sister, but one that's abandoned and floating at sea. It's in development for PC and consoles.

Clive Barker's Hellraiser is borrowing from several other games – think modern Resident Evil with a little P.T. – and fusing them together into what feels like a solid, cohesive survival horror-action game that seems, in part, to align with the Hellraiser series.
