Onimusha: Way of the Sword is a game that manages to challenge the player without becoming exhausting, allowing the game to shift naturally between moments of intense concentration and opportunities to simply enjoy stylish swordplay.

Capcom has announced that Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the upcoming action-adventure sequel for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, will now be released earlier than previously guided: it will be available on September 4 rather than September 25.

Capcom's new Onimusha game for 2026 follows Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata as one of gaming's best, based on its new demo.

Lords of the Fallen 2 will no longer release this year, as the game has been pushed to early 2027.
