Another unofficial update for Sensible World of Soccer 96/97 (Amiga) created by Gideon and Dom Cresswell and various others. Released exclusively on the CU Amiga Cover CD in July 1998. It had the 32 updated World Cup teams and World Cup related graphics. During the 1998 World Cup in France, the Cresswells made this special update, which was based on their '97/'98 release and contained also some new graphics. This "World Cup 98 update" was officially supported by Sensible Software and released on the Cover CD number 24 of the magazine "CU Amiga". But to use this update a hard disk installation was required which officially does not exist.

Soccer Game Rematch Adds A Nearly Naked Man For World Cup And Tobias Funke Fans
The 2026's Men's World Cup is underway, and the popular soccer game Rematch got an update recently inspired by the global event. Now, the game has received another update that adds a skin that lets you play as an almost-naked person. The Naturist is the name of the new skin, and it's in the game's store now. As you can see, it doesn't remove your clothes entirely but pretty much. It basically lets you cosplay as the world's most famous nevernude, Tobias Funke. Shrek Plays Soccer Now, Sort Of
Of the multitude of unusual characters that are playable in FIFA Heroes, there are some new additions that are absolutely my favorites. Dreamworks Animation's Shrek enters the fray as part of the new season pass, and I cannot stop giggling. There's something pretty wonderful about watching the giant green ogre play a cross in to Messi, who passes it to Puss in Boots to finish. Sadly, the Shrek characters, consisting of Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots, Gingy, Pinocchio, and Lord Farquaad will only be playable until August 10. World Cup 2026 Sim By EA Sports Predicts An Expected Winner
The 2026 Men's World Cup begins today, June 11, and EA Sports has announced the result of its simulation for this year, predicting which team will win. This year, the simulation has Spain winning the World Cup, capturing its second World Cup victory on the men's side and first since 2010.
