How The New Spyro Is Handling The Big-Name Options For Its Lead Voice Actor
Spyro: A Realm Beyond is the first new Spyro game, not associated with the Toys to Life Skylanders spin-off, in years. In the intervening time the definitive voice of Spyro, Tom Kenny, has become one of the biggest names in the business thanks to voicing the mega-hit SpongeBob Squarepants. But despite the success, Kenny wasn't too big for his square britches. Spyro creative director Lou Studdert told GameSpot he was game for returning and still loves the character. "We started a normal VO casting process, but for us, when looking at Spyro, it wasn't, 'let's open a casting call,'" Studdert said
