I recently finished reading Keza MacDonald's excellent Super Nintendo, a largely celebratory book about the company that "helped the world have fun", which nevertheless sounds a note of understandable caution at its conclusion. Video games are great, that's why we're here! But some things about video games are greater than others. And so in the spirit of Eurogamer's Optimism Week - a chance to reflect on just how special the medium can be, at a time it isn't always easy to remember - we thought we'd switch tack; moving away from the big things, to the little things.
