With no new content for Destiny 2 and Marathon's continued development, the future of Bungie has never been more uncertain

PlayStation's highly-anticipated State of Play event was flooded by demands for Destiny 3.

Hosting a Sony State of Play broadcast not even two weeks after announcing that the next Destiny 2 update will be its last was always going to attract attention from the soon-to-be alienated player base. However, it's the week of Summer Game Fest, so it's pretty unavoidable. So, Destiny 2 is dying and it might take most of Bungie with it. I have spoken at length about how a continued prioritisation of the bottom-line over a loyal playerbase, and forward-thinking staff, has ravaged the very soul of the game.
