The Steam Machine is an awesome little system with serious gaming chops and cute aesthetics. They make a great entry-point for PC gaming if you’ve been sitting on the sidelines for a while and want that console-like experience, with some added PC functionality. There’s no way around it, the Steam Machine is extremely expensive for the level of performance you get out of it. The Steam Machine is slowly making its way into the wild, with some folks getting their hands on Valve's not-a-console console.
