The TerraFirmaGreg group of modpacks are a special hybrid of two titans of modding: TerraFirmaCraft (a deep, realistic survival overhaul) and GregTech (an expansive tech mod famous for its realistic chemistry and complex progression). Both have been seamlessly blended together for a stone-age-to-space-age experience. Are you looking for a longer modpack where every step feels rewarding, and you're constantly building upon previous technologies in a way that feels seamless and natural? Do you want a modpack where every mod is carefully integrated instead of just thrown in? Do you dislike magic mods, or want to try a tech modpack that feels less "minecrafty" with its automation? TerraFirmaGreg-Modern (for 1.20.1) is a modern iteration built on GregTech Modern. It emphasizes seamless integration of all mods (Create, Ad Astra, AE2) along with a ton of custom content for a seamless and unique experience. This is a more "polished" experience with modern mechanics. TerraFirmaGreg-Vintage (for 1.12.2) is the classic version based on GregTech CEu. It offers "survival as it should be" - harsh, realistic, and full of challenges, with classic tech mods like Galacticraft and OpenComputers. Both packs feature natural progression, deep integration, both survival and automation, a non-magic focus, and tons of in-game help in the form of quests and guides so you can easily navigate your way.
