House House's critically acclaimed co-op puzzle-solving game Big Walk has only been out for two days, but one modder is taking it upon themselves to add a new dimension to the gameplay. Independent solo developer CircuitLord has announced that they are developing a VR mod for Big Walk. Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 seems like one of those lazy Sunday games, where you kill part of an afternoon playing a couple hours with friends. It gets Aliens and understands that forty miles of bad road Cameron envisioned. As a co-op game, it’s not going to change the world. Aliens already did that. But it’s a great excuse to play around in that world again, and I’m eager to see what else LV-558 has in store.

With a fourth player added, a new completely open-ended Specialist class, new special Xenomorph types, and a totally new campaign, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 may not be reinventing the PvE Alien-game wheel, but it doesn’t need to. It’s adding seemingly everything we’d reasonably want in order to take the already well-executed concept from the first Fireteam Elite to the next level.
