I’ve biked from corner to corner of Agefield, delivering food, fighting bullies, maintaining my GPA, and learning to fit in with my fellow rejects. And after dabbling in as much main and side content as possible, I’m struggling to find anything redeemable about this game beyond a gag. The stuff I saw was unpolished, uninspired, and flat. I don’t see the big-picture stuff improving, even if Agefield High: Rock the School’s rougher edges – namely its buggy gameplay and wonky physics – get sanded down before its rapidly approaching August release date.

After a story trailer got Bully fans excited for the spiritual successor Agefield High: Rock The School last year, the game has officially released on PC. Unfortunately, first impressions from players aren't so kind, so you may want to temper your expectations that it could match the high bar Rockstar set so long ago. Set in the early 2000s and inspired by the humor of movies like American Pie, Agefield High's developers warn on the Steam page that this humor isn't for everyone. Halo has a proud history of smuggling secret endings into its campaigns. In the very first 2001 game, there is a hidden (non-canon) ending featuring Sgt. Avery Johnson fighting and hugging an Elite. In Halo 2, there's a mid-credits scene that teases the beginning of Halo 3. In Halo 3, we get a full scene of Chief drifting, alone, in the cold, indifferent vacuum of space. ODST gives us a glimpse of the Engineers' secret. And in Reach, my personal favourite, we get that phenomenal 'Lone Wolf' ending that still sends shivers down my spine to think about today. Read more
