Summary
เรื่องย่อ
Deep underground, nestled in the remains of a post-apocalyptic American South, rests a cryogenic facility called Intermine Laboratories. In this miniscule piece of frost-stricken hell rests a collective of eclectic individuals who are inexplicably awoken from their restless dreams long before their assigned time. But, the facility has changed in the time since they've gone to sleep. It's become a fascistic nightmare in the wake of a gruesome civil war, and everywhere they go ... it feels like they're being watched. To add insult to injury, some of them have started acting ... funny ...

There's something that really stood out for me as someone in the UK who collected American comics at the end of the 1980s. It's that each new comic you got was a doorway to a world of absolute chaos and gimmickry. I'm not talking about the comic stories themselves, but about the American ads that were suddenly blaring out of the alternate spreads. Topps bubble gum cards. Garbage Pail whatevers. Endless enticements to buy Bayou Billy on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a reinvention of the Lego game formula, including a much-needed trimming of some of the bloat present in the series' past entries. One way bloat has been reduced is by limiting the roster of playable characters, giving each character unique abilities in addition to a variety of costumes.In total, there are seven playable characters, outside of the occasional one-off section in some levels where characters like Alfred are briefly playable.
